EUROPAD and the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD) -
formerly the American Methadone Association
At each AATOD conference EUROPAD has its own one day seminar where European papers are presented.
The collaboration between EUROPAD and AATOD led to the creation of the World Federation for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (inserire il link al sito della WFTOD), in July 2007 during the EUROPAD conference held in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Links with Other International Organisations
As well as strong links with AATOD, EUROPAD has particularly good relations with the Australian Professional Society for Addiction (APSAD). This and other links are currently being developed further.
Since 2017 EUROPAD is an Affiliate Society to ISAM (International Society of Addiction Medicine).
The EUROPAD Network
